A football team, with complementary colors, is the Denver Broncos. Their colors are blue and orange. These colors are across from each other on the color wheel. Orange is created by mixing red and yellow. Green is created by mixing yellow and blue. Purple is made by combining blue and red. All the secondary colors are made by mixing two of the primary colors. Tints are lightened colors. You start with white and add color to it until you get the tint you want. With shades you start with the color and add black to it. You keep adding black to it until you get the desired shade. The neutral colors are clack, white, grey, and sometimes brown. The neutral colors have equal parts of the three primary colors. The three main types of color schemes are analogous, complementary, and monochromatic.
